1. About Us

Charlie Mike Limited, trading as CM Web Design ("we", "us", "our"), provides web design and SEO services to clients ("you", "your").

2. Services

We offer the following services:

  • Website design and development

  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

  • One-off design services (e.g. logo design)

All services will be agreed in writing before work begins.

3. Web Design Projects

3.1 Payment Terms

  • 50% deposit is required before work begins

  • 50% balance is due before final files or website launch

3.2 Revisions
We include a reasonable number of revisions as agreed at the start of the project. Additional revisions may be chargeable.

3.3 Delivery
Final files, website access, or launch will only be provided once full payment has been received.

4. SEO Services

4.1 Minimum Term
All SEO services are subject to a minimum 6-month agreement.

4.2 Payment Terms

  • SEO services are billed monthly

  • Payment must be made before the start of each service month

4.3 Non-Payment
If payment is not received before the start of the next month:

  • We reserve the right to pause all SEO services immediately, or

  • Terminate the agreement entirely

4.4 Results Disclaimer
While we aim to improve search performance, we do not guarantee specific rankings or results.

5. One-Off Design Services

For services such as logo design or standalone design work:

  • 50% deposit required upfront

  • 50% due before final files are delivered

No work will be released until full payment is received.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide all required content, feedback, and approvals in a timely manner

  • Ensure you have the right to use any materials you supply to us

Delays in providing information may affect timelines.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Final deliverables become your property once full payment has been made

  • We reserve the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio

8. Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Any loss of business, revenue, or data

  • Third-party issues (e.g. hosting providers, search engines)

Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or pause services if:

  • Payments are missed

  • There is a breach of these terms

You may cancel services by providing written notice, subject to any minimum term agreements (e.g. SEO).

10. General

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales

  • Any disputes will be handled in UK courts
